Role overview:
You’ll provide technical support to Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) shops within the region. You’ll also contribute to research, development, and industrialisation of new technologies for airline customers and MRO partners. Additionally, you’ll be involved in cost reduction initiatives at Singapore Aero Engine Services Private Limited (SAESL), including participating in scrap part reviews to help identify potential savings.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the day-to-day administration of engineering activities
- Investigating and resolving technical queries raised with the Singapore Engineering Team by MRO shops across the Asia-Pacific and Greater China regions
- Having the opportunity to learn from and revise current technical manuals
- Managing research partners to help achieve project milestones and stay within budget
- Taking part in cost reduction activities at SAESL, including scrap part reviews
Who we’re looking for:
- Engineering students currently at university - ideally in the final year of study
- A strong interest in the aviation industry
- Good communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
