What’s the role?

If you have a passion for brewing great beers & have a high level of brewing expertise within a medium to large scale brewing environment then this may be the role you are looking for.

Working alongside the production team, you will contribute to the achievement of process specifications and First Time Right to improve brewing and product quality. You will act as key site contact with Technical colleagues and external parties to ensure resolution of all quality and technical issues. You will help to deliver successful implementation of improvement opportunities such as brewing process improvements, organising trials along with supporting the introduction of new products and brewing materials.

Being a high volume site you will also drive process optimisation to deliver cost benefits to the site. Training and education of operational teams is also a key part of the role in technical and operational aspects. With ongoing large investment to the site, you will pay a pivotal role supporting effective project delivery with key stakeholders, ensuring quality and efficiency is maintained or improved.

This is a key and exciting role in which you will be supporting the Head of Brewing in all quality, technical and operational aspects of the department. We need you to drive quality standards and production levels forward through analysis and optimisation of the entire brewing process.

  • Experienced Technical Brewer or Quality Specialist

  • IBD Master Brewer (or actively working towards it)

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience within the brewing industry

  • Experience within a large-scale (“big brewer”) environment preferred

  • Strong TPM and Lean Manufacturing capability

  • Track record of leading NPI development and successful realisation

  • Experience integrating CAPEX projects into operations

  • Flexible, adaptable and collaborative team player

Our Benefits:

As part of the team, along with your salary you’ll also receive;

  • Company funded Private Medical Healthcare,
  • double matched pension (up to 10%),
  • 35 days holiday
  • A monthly case of our delicious ciders and beers!
  • Comprehensive Opportunities to develop.

You’ll also get the opportunity to get involved with one of our colleague networks where groups of colleagues from all over the business work together to ensure we’re always working towards being a diverse and inclusive company.
