Job Description

Regional Manager (Central Italy)

Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation, and growth drives everything we do. Our Commercial team sits at the centre of Deliveroo’s marketplace—shaping how we serve restaurants, grocers, and new verticals worldwide. From negotiating key partnerships to unlocking new revenue streams and crafting data-led growth strategies, we take on big challenges that move the business forward. If you thrive in fast-paced, commercial environments and want to influence the future of a global brand—this is the team for you.

We’re looking for a Regional Manager to join our Florence team. In this role, you’ll be a core member of the Italian leadership team, inspiring your department to hit P&L goals and owning our success across Tuscany, Umbria, and Marche.

Get to know our Commercial team — what drives us, how we work, and what you can expect.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be joining the Italy Leadership team, reporting directly to the Regional Director. You will be responsible for balancing all three sides of our marketplace—customers, riders, and restaurants—to win in your specific geography.

Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:

  • Own the Regional P&L: Manage both top and bottom-line targets for your region, ensuring sustainable growth in order volume and market share.

  • Drive Strategy & Execution: Lead and coordinate your team (City Managers, Account Managers, and BDMs) to develop and execute hyper-local operational plans.

  • Lead the Mid-Market Portfolio: Take direct accountability for the success of strategically critical restaurant brands within Central Italy, maintaining relationships with top-tier accounts.

  • High-Stakes Negotiations: Lead critical negotiations for new restaurant partners and work with C-suite operators to expand our local ecosystem.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Rider Operations, Marketing, and Product teams to align local execution with global innovation and improve customer outcomes.

What You’ll Need to Thrive

Essential

  • Commercial Leadership: Proven experience in commercially focused roles, with a deep understanding of P&L management and regional growth drivers.

  • People Management: Excellent leadership skills with a track record of inspiring teams to meet high standards and achieve ambitious targets.

  • Strategic Execution: A mix of high-level strategic thinking and a hands-on approach to implementing operational plans in the field.

  • Negotiation & Influence: Comfortable handling complex negotiations with business owners and C-suite executives, both face-to-face and remotely.

  • Analytical Mindset: An innovative and highly analytical thinker who can use data to identify efficiencies and accelerate revenue.

Nice to Have

  • Specific experience within the HORECA (Hotel, Restaurant, Cafe) sector.

  • Previous experience managing multi-site or multi-region portfolios in the technology or delivery space.
