Job Description

Field Sales Executive - Core London

Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation, and growth drives everything we do. Our Commercial team sits at the centre of Deliveroo’s marketplace—shaping how we serve restaurants, grocers, and new verticals worldwide. From negotiating key partnerships to unlocking new revenue streams and crafting data-led growth strategies, we take on big challenges that move the business forward. If you thrive in fast-paced, commercial environments and want to influence the future of a global brand—this is the team for you.

We’re looking for a Business Development Associate to join our London team. In this role, you’ll help us expand our selection of top-tier restaurant partners and drive growth across the Greater London region.

Get to know our Commercial team — what drives us, how we work, and what you can expect.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be joining the Regional UK and Ireland team. We are the local market experts driving Deliveroo’s performance across all four nations, identifying the restaurants customers crave most to unlock one of our biggest growth opportunities.

Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:

  • Identify and close partnerships: Map, prospect, and pitch to high-potential restaurants across Greater London to ensure we have the best local selection.

  • Drive end-to-end onboarding: Oversee the restaurant onboarding process to ensure it is quick, efficient, and seamless for new partners.

  • Ensure early-stage success: Actively manage the performance of newly signed restaurants within their first eight weeks to set them up for long-term growth.

  • Act as a brand ambassador: Attend restaurant and food meet-ups and engage with the local community to demonstrate Deliveroo’s technology and value.

  • Execute data-led growth: Use market insights to target up-and-coming partners and structure win-win commercial deals that benefit both the restaurant and Deliveroo.

What You’ll Need to Thrive

Our ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in some of these areas and curiosity to grow in others:

  • Sales experience: Proven ability to target and approach new businesses, with at least one year of experience in a sales-focused environment.

  • Negotiation skills: Significant experience structuring commercial deals and an understanding of the economics of food delivery.

  • Communication excellence: Strong ability to build relationships and demonstrate industry knowledge through physical visits, calls, and digital channels.

  • Goal orientation: Proven ability to take ownership and consistently deliver results within demanding targets and KPIs.

  • Passion for the industry: A genuine interest in the food and restaurant landscape, combined with a tenacious and motivated attitude.

Why Join Us?

At Deliveroo, you’ll do work that matters, solving real-world problems in a three-sided marketplace that’s constantly evolving. We’re food lovers, problem solvers, community builders and more, brought together by a shared drive to make things better. Working here you can expect to:
