Urology and Critical Care (UCC) is an established and trusted partner in urinary healthcare, developing complete solutions which optimize the urine drainage process in the Acute Care Hospital setting.

About the role

The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading the commercial performance of the UCC (Urology and Critical Care) portfolio across Turkey through strategic business planning, distributor management, customer engagement, and execution excellence.

They will drive revenue growth, market expansion, customer adoption, and operational execution while developing strong partnerships with distributors, healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, procurement stakeholders, and strategic accounts. The role is accountable for delivering financial targets, identifying new growth opportunities, and ensuring successful execution of BD's commercial priorities within the Turkish market.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Develop and execute annual business plans to achieve and exceed sales objectives.
• Drive growth of the UCC portfolio across existing and new customer segments.
• Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to increase market share and customer penetration.
• Lead strategic account planning and opportunity management across Turkey.
• Ensure effective use of commercial excellence tools and CRM systems.
• Lead and manage distributor relationships to ensure achievement of sales and profitability objectives.
• Conduct regular business reviews, forecasting sessions, and performance evaluations.
• Drive distributor accountability for customer coverage, inventory management, demand generation, and market development.
• Develop distributor capabilities through continuous coaching, training, and performance management.
• Ensure alignment with BD commercial priorities and execution standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare stakeholders, procurement leaders, clinicians, nursing leadership, and hospital administrators.
• Develop strategic partnerships with priority governmental and private healthcare institutions.
• Support customer adoption, retention, and expansion initiatives.
• Drive customer-focused solutions that improve clinical and economic outcomes.
• Identify new growth opportunities across existing and emerging care settings.
• Support new product launches and portfolio expansion initiatives.
• Increase market penetration through targeted commercial programs and customer engagement strategies.
• Monitor competitive activities and market trends to identify opportunities and risks.
• Deliver accurate sales forecasting and business performance reporting.

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, Medical Technology, or a related discipline.
• 5 years of successful sales experience within medical devices or healthcare with people leadership experience.
• Proven track record of delivering sustainable business growth and market share gains.
• Demonstrated experience in distributor management and strategic account development.
• Strong understanding of the Turkish healthcare environment and tender landscape.
