The Role

We’re looking for a world‑class VP Marketing to lead and scale 9fin’s global marketing function.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a critical executive role responsible for owning our end‑to‑end marketing strategy - from positioning and product marketing, through demand generation and ABM, to brand, events, PR/AR/IR and customer engagement.

You’ll be both a strategic leader and a hands‑on operator: setting direction, building a high‑performing team, and personally driving high‑impact initiatives. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Product and Customer Success to ensure tight go‑to‑market alignment as we scale from ~$50m ARR to $150m+.

This role spans North America, EMEA and APAC, and is ideal for a senior SaaS marketer who thrives in high‑growth, complex enterprise environments.

What You’ll Do

Own and scale our marketing strategy

  • Define and execute 9fin’s global marketing vision across product marketing, demand generation, ABM, brand, content, communications and customer marketing

  • Build a predictable, metrics‑driven demand engine that supports sustained pipeline and revenue growth

  • Own the full marketing tech stack and ensure data, attribution and reporting drive clear decision‑making

Lead world‑class ABM and enterprise demand

  • Design and run sophisticated account‑based marketing programmes for our largest enterprise customers

  • Use data and insight to identify, prioritise and penetrate key accounts with highly personalised messaging

  • Partner tightly with Sales and Customer Success to drive pipeline creation, conversion and expansion

  • Establish clear success metrics across pipeline impact, conversion and retention

Drive positioning, messaging and thought leadership

  • Own 9fin’s positioning and narrative as we define and lead a new category

  • Translate deep customer and market insight into compelling messaging that resonates with senior decision‑makers

  • Lead competitive intelligence and feed clear market insight back into Product and Sales

  • Establish 9fin and its leaders as trusted voices in the credit and capital markets ecosystem

Build brand and events that move the needle

  • Lead our global events strategy, including field, industry and conversion‑focused events

  • Ensure events, sponsorships and partnerships deliver measurable impact on pipeline and market share

  • Oversee PR, analyst relations, investor communications and corporate storytelling

Be a senior leader at 9fin

  • Act as a trusted thought partner to the CEO, leadership team and Board

  • Help scale the company through a period of rapid growth and increasing complexity

  • Build, mentor and inspire a high‑performing global marketing team

  • Champion a culture of clarity, ownership, humility and high standards

What We’re Looking For

  • Significant senior marketing leadership experience (VP‑level or equivalent) in a B2B enterprise SaaS business

  • A proven track record of building and scaling marketing functions in high‑growth environments

  • Deep expertise in enterprise demand generation and account‑based marketing

  • Strong instincts for positioning, messaging and storytelling, with a clear link to commercial outcomes

  • Experience partnering closely with Sales on enterprise GTM and revenue growth

  • Comfort operating at both strategic and hands‑on levels

  • Experience building and leading hybrid, international teams

  • Highly data‑driven, with strong understanding of marketing analytics and performance measurement

  • Excellent communicator, able to influence at executive, Board and customer level
