Job Description

Virgin Media O2 has embarked on a major, once in a generation network infrastructure investment to deliver ultrafast broadband and services across its existing network footprint and customer base. In a nutshell, the Fibre Upgrade Programme is all about delivering the network technology to make this a reality.

This role requires an experienced Senior Project Support Officer to cover the full spectrum of PSO duties, with strong stakeholder engagement and programme management understanding working closely with Leadership & Delivery teams to challenge and make recommendations.

This role requires someone who has experience of working in a fast-paced environment, strong experience on all project control methodologies and disciplines including Governance, Compliance, Change Control and RAID management to ensure the correct Governance framework & processes are established and followed.

The must haves

  • Demonstrable experience working within a structured project management framework with an understanding of the standards, tools, processes, systems and frameworks for successful governance
  • Significant experience of creating and implementing strong Change & RAID methodologies & governance
  • Significant experience with producing high quality PowerPoint presentation reports for the Programme & Senior Leadership
  • Evidence the identification and monitoring of risks, issues and linkages within strands of work, taking the appropriate action to address these effectively

  • The ability to analyse and present information in a clear and concise way
  • Ability to rapidly build rapport and form strong business relationships across multiple locations

  • Self-starting and inquisitive attitude, proactively seeking solutions to programmes governance & reporting requirements
