Job Description
The paralegal will be a key member of our procurement legal team supporting our lawyers on a wide range of legal matters. The procurement legal team is part of the In-house Legal Team and concludes millions of pounds worth of supplier contracts every year.
The successful applicant will primarily be supporting the procurement legal team, with the opportunity to also gain experience supporting the other in-house legal teams. The procurement legal team comprises ten lawyers and reports to the Director of Legal Corporate and the Deputy Secretary to the Board. The role will be varied and will involve regular interactions with members of the wider legal team and business.

The must haves
In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;
- Experience working as a paralegal is preferred.
- Proficient in MS office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
- Analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Manage competing deadlines and manage expectations within the team.
- Strong interpersonal skills required to build relationships within the legal team and the wider business.
- Operate with a high degree of confidentiality and discretion.
The other stuff we are looking for
We'd also love you to bring;
- A law degree or equivalent experience is preferred but not critical.
- Experience working within an in-house role.
