ABOUT THE ROLE:

This job is full-time, flexible, working from home (but must be based in the United Kingdom) for 37.5 hours per week over fixed term of 6 months.

The bread and butter of the job is supporting the marketing manager with the execution of successful marketing campaigns across all our brands and platforms. The jam of the job is helping to manage our social media scheduling. And the variety of other spreads may include generating content to develop our brand(s) and helping to improve marketing processes. You’re an all-rounder, shaping your own role and raring to take on new challenges daily.

Key responsibilities:

  • Come up with new and exciting ways to attract and engage with our audiences (attracting future clients, medical writers in the core team, and amazing freelancers)
  • Support the Marketing Manager to deliver our strategic plans across all Monster Medical brands including Word Monster Australia and Word Monster USA
  • Support the Marketing Manager with daily administrative tasks
  • Help manage our social media scheduling platform
  • Develop content for social channels across the Monster Medical brands
  • Support with collecting quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns
  • Come up with creative and innovative ways that the business can use marketing activity to promote the Monster Medical brands
  • Keep abreast of changes in the industry and use this to inform and develop marketing capabilities
  • Perform market analysis and competitor research
  • Support with the organisation and execution of upcoming Monster Medical events
  • Support the Marketing Manager with the delivery of the Monster Academy marketing plan

Desired experience:

  • Managing social media scheduling platforms
  • Working with a team in a remote setting
  • Able to demonstrate enthusiasm/experience working with LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter and other social media platforms

Desired skills:

  • Sweet nunchuck skills or swordfighting skills (kidding)
  • Copywriting skills (able to adapt tone of voice to different audiences)
  • Design skills (Photoshop, Illustrator would be epic – but even Canva would be fab for social bits)
  • Animations/illustrations
  • Advanced Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Workspaces skills

Essential attributes:

  • Strong dislike of the tube and/or traffic jams
  • Open to receiving paid overtime

  • Proactive, meticulous, with a sense of humour
  • A keen interest in / passion for science / medical communications
  • Creative, collaborative and enthusiastic
