Who we are

When Volt launched in 2019, we recognised how open banking had the power to transform how businesses, wherever they happen to be, receive payments from their customers. So, we set about building an open payments gateway that enables merchants across the globe to receive direct, account-to-account payments – in real time.

Now, on the back of a record-breaking $23.5 million Series A funding round, we’re building an all-star team to achieve our goal of ‘real-time payments everywhere’.

About the role

As a Head of Revenue Operations at Volt, you will be responsible for building an effective sales machine which will help us grow quickly and efficiently. We will count on your expertise in building sales processes, performance management, and sales reporting and forecasting. This role reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and owns the commercial operating model which needs to align and scale in collaboration with finance, operations, sales, partnerships and account management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and own the end to end sales process using SalesForce as the primary tool,
  • Managing pipeline health and reviews,
  • Build and own sales reporting and forecasting,
  • Define commercial performance KPIs, sales targets, and build reporting to track progress and achievement,
  • Own Salesforce health, quality, and development,
  • Identify processes bottlenecks and collaborate with relevant teams to implement improvements to increase sale efficiency and merchant satisfaction,
  • Identify opportunities to drive revenue, such as go-to-market strategies, sales trainings, sales enablement materials, tactics to streamline the customer lifecycle,
  • Work closely with the Chief Revenue Officer, finance, sales, account management and operations teams to monitor business strategies, revenue growth, and KPIs based on data.

Competencies and Experience:

  • 5-8 years experience in a key Sales Operations or Revenue Operations role (ideally in a start-up / scale-up environment or consulting company),
  • Demonstrated experience in creating, documenting, and following processes across sales organizations,
  • Ability to analyzing and understanding data and insights to help leadership make the right business decisions,
  • Proficient knowledge of Salesforce will be a plus,
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, revenue modeling, reporting and presentation skills,
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships at all organizational levels and functions,
  • Detail-oriented, organized and self-directed team player with an ability to work in dynamic organizations,
  • Top tier consulting experience is desirable.
