What you’ll do

At VodafoneThree, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape privacy best practice at one of the most exciting moments in the UK telecoms industry. As part of the Privacy team, you’ll support the delivery of Privacy by Design across a business that is creating the UK's largest mobile network provider. You’ll work alongside talented colleagues and trusted stakeholders to ensure privacy is embedded into business initiatives from the outset. In doing so, you’ll help protect our customers, enable innovation, and contribute to a culture where responsible decision-making, continuous improvement, and collaboration thrive.

• You’ll support the delivery of Privacy by Design activities, helping the business comply with data protection legislation and regulatory requirements.
• You’ll complete and review Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), providing practical, risk-based privacy guidance to support business initiatives.
• You’ll assist in assessing and managing personal data breaches, ensuring appropriate actions and mitigations are identified and implemented.
• You’ll build collaborative relationships across VodafoneThree, working closely with colleagues from a variety of functions to deliver balanced and commercially focused privacy advice.
• You’ll help identify, assess, and manage privacy risks, ensuring appropriate controls and assurance frameworks are applied.
• You’ll contribute to training, guidance, and awareness activities that empower teams to make informed privacy decisions.
• You’ll champion process improvements, helping to simplify, automate, and scale privacy processes to enhance efficiency and business self-service capabilities.
• You’ll work with stakeholders to refine ways of working and embed privacy best practice across projects and operational activities.
• You’ll keep up to date with developments in privacy, technology, and telecommunications regulation, sharing insights and knowledge with colleagues.
• You’ll contribute to a supportive, inclusive, and high-performing team environment where ideas, learning, and continuous improvement are encouraged.
• You’ll help deliver timely, pragmatic privacy support that enables business growth while maintaining strong compliance standards.

Who you are

• You’ll bring experience working within data protection and Privacy by Design environments, ideally supported by a degree and/or recognised privacy qualification.
• You’ll have experience conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments and applying Privacy by Design principles in practice.
• You’ll understand the challenges and opportunities of working with large customer data sets within a B2C environment.
• You’ll be motivated to develop your knowledge of the technology and telecommunications sectors, with an interest in emerging legal and regulatory trends.
• You’ll take ownership of your work, using initiative to progress tasks while knowing when to seek guidance and collaborate with others.
• You’ll combine sound judgement with commercial awareness, helping balance risk management with business priorities and strategic objectives.
• You’ll be comfortable analysing complex information, identifying key insights, and translating them into practical, achievable recommendations.
• You’ll communicate clearly and confidently, adapting your style to support understanding and informed decision-making across diverse audiences.
• You’ll build trusted relationships with stakeholders and work constructively to achieve shared goals and positive business outcomes.
