What you’ll do

A TV Development Manager is the technical responsible for the development process of TV Client Devices, overseeing and coordinating external providers, assuring deliverables on quality and time. This role would focus on assuring the success of development and delivery of Vodafone TV multiple client types: Android STBs, Mobile, Smart TVs, Web, AppleTV and FireTV.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for overseeing the development stream of Vodafone TV Client.
  • Join Agile teams (working in SAFe) responsible for delivering software with high quality and speed, with a Continuous Integration - Continuous Delivery pipeline, and release management.
  • Join projects for multiple Vodafone operations and work with multi-national team and culturally diverse environment.
  • Gain knowledge in business domains to help teams analyse, test, build and delivery quality software.
  • Enhance and further develop your skills by learning new techniques, methods, and practices, within project recommendations and requirements

Who you are

  • Higher Education in Computer Science or any other IT area.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to engage and communicate effectively with senior levels of the organization, providing technical intelligence and guidance to leadership teams. Portuguese/English Language proficiency.
  • Ability to work with Agile Methodologies like scrum, Kanban and SAFe
  • Capable of articulating ideas and opinions within an experienced engineering ecosystem.
  • Capable to technically comprehend solution defined by TV Architects
  • Capable of quickly learning the multiple Vodafone TV layers to technically support the Development chain.
  • Problem-Solving Expertise: Demonstrated ability to distill high technical content into effective executive papers and facilitate meetings and discussions to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Capable of supporting triage and troubleshoot complex issues within the ecosystem.
