About this Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Test Engineer to join our Software Engineering team. This role supports VOIS’s strategic growth in the Testing Function, focusing on ensuring software quality through manual and automated testing. The individual will work closely with development and QA teams to validate functionality, identify bugs, and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.

What you’ll do

• Execute manual and automated test cases based on defined plans
• Document and report defects with clear reproduction steps
• Retest resolved defects and verify fixes
• Prepare test data for various scenarios
• Maintain test documentation including scripts and cases
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups and sprint planning
• Collaborate with developers to understand and validate features
• Conduct regression, smoke, and sanity testing
• Apply best practices in QA and support process improvements

Who you are

• 1–3 years of experience in software testing
• Exposure to web and/or mobile application testing
• Understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr)
• Knowledge of OOP and clean test automation code practices
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript
• 6months of Experience with automation tools using Selenium and Rest Assured
• REST API testing experience using Postman
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Excellent communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB Foundation Level, Agile Tester)
• Proficient in English (B2 level or higher)
