About this Role

We are seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join our Online Delivery department, supporting the digital transformation of a local Vodafone business unit. The individual will be responsible for validating web and mobile applications through automated testing, ensuring high-quality digital solutions for business customers. This role operates within a dynamic, cross-functional agile team, contributing to sustainable development practices and continuous integration and delivery.

What you will do

• Develop automated tests for websites in lifecycle and transformation projects.
• Coordinate quality assurance across in-house, onshore, and nearshore development teams.
• Support agile delivery chains with DevOps, automated testing, and continuous deployment.
• Design and implement end-to-end test scenarios integrating backend services with web front-end systems.
• Embed agile testing practices into daily CI/CD processes.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate automated and manual testing activities.
• Maintain and enhance testing tools and processes.

Who you are

• Minimum 5 years of experience in implementing and assuring quality of complex web solutions.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Cypress, and Postman.
• Skilled in web and testing technologies including HTML, CSS, Node.js, Selenium, Puppeteer, PhantomJS, BackstopJS, Gherkin, Cucumber, Postman, Newman, Java, jQuery, AngularJS, XML, JSON, REST, AJAX.
• Experienced in working with agile, interdisciplinary, and intercultural development teams.
• Holds a degree in computer science, software development, or a related field.
• Fluent in English.
• Familiar with Agile, DevOps methodologies, and Continuous Delivery.
