Job Description

Role Overview:

As a Technical Product Owner, you will act as the bridge between the technical team and business stakeholders. You will own the end-to-end delivery of the product roadmap, ensuring that the technical team builds high-quality solutions aligned with business goals. You will lead technical planning, prioritize features, and work closely with engineers to translate business needs into technical specifications.

Responsibilities

Product Ownership:

  • Own and manage the product backlog; define, prioritize, and communicate the product vision.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions by closely collaborating with developers.
  • Lead sprint planning sessions, ensuring clarity and alignment of tasks with product goals.
  • Drive product strategy, balancing technical debt, feature development, and customer needs.
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders, providing regular updates on product progress, roadblocks, and technical risks.

Technical Guidance & Planning:

  • Ensure all technical designs adhere to best practices and are aligned with customer requirements.
  • Work closely with the technical team, providing input on architecture and tool selection.
  • Ensure full understanding of the product's technical needs across the team.
  • Drive innovation within the team, encouraging technical and product improvements.

Coaching & Team Leadership:

  • Guide the technical team in understanding business priorities and how they relate to technical solutions.
  • Offer technical mentorship and support to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Maintain and promote a collaborative environment, ensuring all team members contribute to the product's success.

Quality Control:

  • Ensure high-quality technical deliverables, performing code reviews, and enforcing best practices like unit testing.
  • Work with the team to enforce coding standards and ensure maintainability of the product.

Reporting & Communication:

  • Provide regular reports to stakeholders regarding product and technical team status.
  • Work closely with business leaders to ensure alignment between product vision and business needs.
  • Escalate product risks, technical challenges, or quality concerns promptly.

Commitment to Product Success:

  • Deliver high-quality features on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Adapt to changes in timelines or business requirements to ensure successful product delivery.

Not a perfect fit?

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science and/or engineering or equivalent
  • 3-5 years working experience.
  • Strong experience with Spring Boot framework and Spring cloud/Spring security.
  • Solid experience and working on Java 8 or 17 Version.
  • Good Knowledge and experience with microservices architecture.
  • Experience developing solutions to complex problems for enterprise-wide projects.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and AWS.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Very good in English is a must.
  • Excellent in communication.

  • A product owner or similar role managing both technical and business teams is a plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and sprint management.
  • Strong ability to translate business requirements into detailed technical tasks.
  • Solid understanding of product lifecycle management and backlog prioritization.
  • Ability to balance between technical debt management and feature delivery.

  • Design Patterns (GoF, SOLID)
  • Microservices Architecture
  • Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure)
  • RESTful APIs and SOAP Webservices
  • Spring Framework (Spring Security, Spring Data, Spring Integration)
  • CI/CD Pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Caching & Performance Tuning (Redis, ElasticSearch)
  • Big Data Solutions (Kafka, NoSQL databases)
  • Testing Frameworks (Unit Testing, Integration Testing, BDD).

General Skills:

  • Strong communication skills, able to engage with technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proactive mindset, always looking to optimize the product and team efficiency.
  • Leadership and mentorship abilities to guide the technical team effectively.
