About this Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Test Engineer to join our Software Engineering team. This role plays a critical part in supporting VOIS’s strategic growth in the Testing Function. The individual will lead testing efforts, design and execute test strategies, and drive efficiencies through automation and standardisation. The position requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and mentoring of junior engineers to uphold quality standards across software products.

What you’ll do

• Design, implement, and maintain test strategies, plans, and cases
• Lead testing efforts for complex features and projects
• Create and execute automated and manual test suites
• Perform performance, regression, functional, and integration testing
• Analyse and troubleshoot complex issues, providing detailed defect reports
• Ensure optimal test coverage through risk-based analysis
• Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams and participate in sprint ceremonies
• Mentor junior test engineers and promote QA best practices
• Drive continuous improvement in QA processes and tools
• Facilitate defect triage meetings and support root cause analysis
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API layers
• Review automation code for quality and maintainability

Who you are

• 3+ years of experience in software testing or QA
• More than one year Proficient in automation tools using Selenium and Cypress
• Proficient in English (B2 level or higher)
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and processes
• Experience in Web, Mobile, and API testing
• Proficient in Agile/Scrum and DevOps environments
• Skilled in test management tools (Jira, TestRail, Zephyr)
• Experienced in REST API testing (Postman, REST Assured)
• Programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or Java
• Familiar with CI/CD tools (Azure, GitHub Actions)
• Knowledge of containerisation (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• QA certifications (ISTQB Foundation Level, Agile Tester)
