About this Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Java & Spring Boot Developer with 5–8 years of experience to join our ITP&A department in Pune. The individual will be responsible for designing scalable applications, collaborating across teams, and ensuring high-quality delivery using modern development practices and tools. This role requires strong technical expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and cloud technologies.

What you’ll do

  • Architect and design robust, scalable, and maintainable applications.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Optimise application performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless CI/CD processes.
  • Work with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, QA, and product owners.
  • Estimate effort and resources for development tasks and manage project risks.
  • Facilitate communication between team members and other departments.

Who you are

  • Proficient in Java (JDK 8+) and Spring Boot framework.
  • Experienced in RESTful API design and Microservices Architecture.
  • Skilled in Hibernate/JPA and familiar with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
  • Exposure to front-end technologies such as Angular or React is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerisation tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with Kafka and email listeners.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, MCA, or a related field.
