About this Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Camunda Solutions Lead to drive the development and implementation of process automation solutions using Camunda BPMN and microservices architecture. This role involves hands-on development, architectural design, and mentoring of team members. The individual will play a key role in laying the foundation for a greenfield project, building frameworks, and establishing best practices. The position is based in Pune or Bangalore and includes dotted reporting responsibilities across five team members.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable Java-based microservices using Camunda BPMN.
  • Define architecture and create high-level design artefacts for process automation in the CARE domain.
  • Deliver high-quality code and support shared modules across teams.
  • Build proof of concepts and expand Camunda capability within VOIS.
  • Mentor and train Java developers to upskill in Camunda BPMN.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure successful project execution.
  • Support management in growing the process automation footprint for VOIS in Solstice.
  • Ensure performance, scalability, and security of applications.
  • Apply strong data modelling and API management practices.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and cloud platform integration.

Who you are

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Camunda BPMN and associated tools.
  • Strong Java development background with expertise in Spring, Spring Boot, and microservices.
  • Solid understanding of event-driven architecture and messaging platforms (preferably Kafka).
  • Familiarity with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Excellent analytical, technical communication, and coaching skills.
  • Degree in Software Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Pragmatic and forward-looking approach to design and development.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to guide and influence peers.
  • Experience in defining technology approaches and resolving complex technical challenges.
