Role purpose:

This role has accountability for the service engineering for Vodafone Cloud & Infrastructure (VCI)
Public/Private Cloud Services/products.
E2E Accountability for defining and driving Cloud adoption and migration strategy for moving workloads
from traditional to public/private cloud environments focusing on Oracle Cloud.
Supports the re-factoring of application increasing full automated Oracle Cloud Native Workloads.
Work closely with the Platform Owner and Product Owner to assess new
technologies and lead the development of new services for VCI Managed cloud customers

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

 Lead the design and development of
integration solutions using OCI and DRCC
 Design and develop application
architectures that meet business
requirements
 Evaluate and recommend new technologies
and tools to enhance application design
 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to
ensure seamless integration of applications
 Collaborate with developers to implement
application designs.
 Develop and maintain integration
architecture and design documentation.
 Ensure compliance with industry standards
and best practices.
 Identify and resolve integration issues in a
timely manner.
 Stay updated with the latest trends and
technologies in cloud computing and
integration

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

 Proven experience in application integration
design and implementation
 Strong knowledge of cloud computing
concepts and technologies.
 Excellent problem-solving and analytical
skills.
 Ability to work effectively in a team
environment.
 Strong communication and interpersonal
skills.
 Experience with project management tools
and methodologies.

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

 Certification in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
 Experience with other cloud platforms and
integration tools
 Knowledge of security and compliance
standards in cloud computing
 Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices
 Client management skills
