What you’ll do

Position Title: General Manager - SAP Analytics Cloud Architect

As a skilled and visionary IT Professional, you will play a pivotal role in propelling our organization to unparalleled success in SAP Cloud Analytics (SAC) & Data Analytics solutions. We are seeking an exceptional individual with a proven track record in designing and implementing groundbreaking SAC & Data Analytics solutions. Join our dynamic and rapidly growing team to lead the way in building a new platform for Vodafone. This Senior-level position offers an extraordinary opportunity for professional growth and impact.

Design and Architect Analytics Solutions: Lead the end-to-end design of robust reporting and analytics solutions, ensuring the application of design principles such as scalability, performance optimization, modularity, and reusability.
o Design scalable data models and reporting structures for various deployment scenarios (Cloud, On-Premise, Hybrid).
o Develop flexible and user-centric reporting/analytics solutions aligned with business needs, ensuring adherence to established design patterns.

Design Principles and Patterns: Incorporate industry-standard design principles and architectural patterns into solution design, ensuring solutions are efficient, maintainable, and future-proof.
o Ensure alignment with enterprise-wide data governance and reporting standards, such as those around metadata management, data lineage, and data quality.
o Drive the adoption of standard design patterns for data integration, transformation, and visualization layers.
Reporting Standards and Guidelines: Define and implement reporting and analytics guidelines that align with industry best practices for data visualization, storytelling, accessibility, and user interface design.
o Establish standards for report layout, use of colors, KPIs, and data presentation techniques, ensuring consistency across the organization's reporting landscape.
o Ensure that all solutions adhere to data privacy, security, and compliance standards as per industry regulations.
Data Warehousing Expertise: Demonstrate expert-level knowledge in SAP data warehousing solutions, particularly SAP BW/4HANA and SAP HANA (HANA Cloud or HANA 2.0).
o Develop and optimize complex data models and scripts, including the creation of stored procedures and the implementation of high-performance data pipelines.
o High-level understanding of data replication methods to HANA or BW, ensuring seamless data flow and integration from various source systems.
Full Life Cycle Implementation: Lead or participate in 2-3 full life cycle implementations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives from requirements gathering through deployment and user adoption.
o Ensure that all design and development processes are meticulously documented and comply with enterprise architecture and data governance guidelines.
Architectural Knowledge of SAP Analytics: Possess a strong architectural understanding of various SAP Analytics solutions, their deployment modes (Cloud, On-Premise, Hybrid), and their integration into broader enterprise systems.
o Provide guidance on the adoption of cloud-based analytics solutions, taking into account the organization’s infrastructure, performance, and security requirements.
Core Consulting Skills: Exhibit strong consulting skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, plan and organize tasks, and build trusted relationships with clients.

Who you are

* B.Tech. Computer Science & MBA preferred.
* Overall 15+ years of experience in delivering digital transformation projects to global organizations which includes
* At least 5 years of relevant experience as a Senior SAC & Data Analytics Architect or Team lead.
* At least 4 years' experience in designing and building Data Analytics solutions on hyperscaler cloud platforms
* At least 5 years' experience with technical delivery -At least 2 years of Practice/Program management (responsible for team growth & P&L).
* Ability to manage estimates, tasks, escalations, risks/issues * Expertise in designing high-level, enterprise grade solution architecture
* Ability to clearly articulate concepts to people with varying technical background
