Role Purpose

The Financial & Non-telecom fraud Associate Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping, delivering, and maintaining both local and Group-level anti-fraud strategies. This role is central to safeguarding VF-EG from against Financial and Non-telecom internal fraud risks, that could also result in regulatory penalties, reputational damage, or operational disruption.

The incumbent is responsible for leading a team of Anti-Fraud Specialists and Analysts, ensuring effective fraud monitoring, investigation, prevention, and system enhancement. The role drives continuous improvement, automation, and innovation across fraud management platforms, while also ensuring compliance with Group, legal and regulatory obligations and reporting requirements for specific assigned Fraud types/business domains.

Key Accountabilities & Decision Ownership

  • Leading a team of analysts with a main responsibility to protect VF-EG against specific list of Fraud types while, supporting growth and advancement of relevant Vodafone services & revenues.
  • To develop and ensure the effective delivery of innovative strategies, Fraud management system developments and automation to combat fraud.
  • Ensure proper assessment and qualification of relevant projects, products & services that impact VF Egypt business and revenues.
  • Responsible for detecting, analysis, reporting & preventing/minimizing relevant fraud trends.
  • Ensure a highly accurate monthly and periodical fraud reporting to local management, Group Fraud & internal audit committee of VF Egypt.

Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in the telecom/banking field.
  • Experience of Finance, Procurement, Audit and/or Fraud is required.
  • Excellent analytical & Communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and motivate a team with good communication skills and capable of leadership by example.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to details is required
