About this Role

We are seeking an experienced ETL & Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable data solutions. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to define data models, enforce data management standards, and optimise data storage and processing. The individual will be responsible for architecting solutions using ETL tools such as Ab-Initio, guiding cloud migration strategies, and mentoring data engineers and analysts.

What you’ll do

  • Design and implement ETL processes and data architecture solutions.
  • Develop and enforce data management policies and best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define metadata, data models, and integration strategies.
  • Architect solutions using ETL tools like Ab-Initio or equivalent.
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture policies and methodologies.
  • Optimise data storage and retrieval for performance and cost efficiency.
  • Support project managers with technical estimations and resource planning.
  • Contribute to process adoption, tool optimisation, and quality uplift.
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to data engineers and analysts.
  • Lead initiatives on GCP cloud and on-prem to cloud migration.

Who you are

  • A professional with 10–15 years of overall experience, including 2–4 years of relevant experience in ETL and data architecture.
  • Skilled in ETL solutions using Ab-Initio & Teradata, data modelling, and GCP.
  • Familiar with data modelling tools such as Power Designer and Erwin.
  • Knowledgeable in data warehousing, profiling, and cloud migration strategies.
  • Holds a degree in B.E. / B. Tech, BCA / MCA, or BSc / MSc in Computer Science.
