DevOps Service Manager - Fixed Billing

Job Description

What you’ll do

• Manages Billing, Charging, Invoicing, Payment, Collections, Dunning and Legal Collections services for Vodafone Fixed customers. Prepares data for payable and official invoices on behalf of company, creates base data for financials and makes sure that invoices are transferred to payment channels and invoicing layers. Keeps bill accuracy under control. Manages overall platform and extends automations coverage. Applies devops and agile methods, develops a team with appropriate skills and contributes personal development of team members.

• Leading Fixed Billing Team which is responsible for the on-time and accurate billing of Vodafone Fixed Customers

• Develop strategies to streamline and automate customized billing and invoicing processes,

• Manage and inspire Fixed Billing Team in developing and documenting best practices in the performance of all duties and responsibilities

• Successfully managing the Billing and ; that includes implementing Best Practices, creation of policy and procedures, excellent delivery of client’s responsiveness, increased productivity and quick and accurate deliverables to our client.

• Responsible for strategy formation, planning and projects aligned with stakeholders.

• Providing data driven insight and analysis across billing and charging, highlighting risks and opportunities across revenue and customer experience.

• Monitoring all billing and charging processes and platforms to ensure adherence to company processes and compliance with regulation.

• Manages platforms to keep Billing and Charging Systems & Services up and running uninterruptedly on a 7/24 hour basis in compliance with the internal procedures, international standards (SOX, ISO-27001 etc) and Vodafone Turkey Strategies.

• Ensures that department’s KPIs are fulfilled and aligned with counterparts.

• Controls and approves the access rights of the production systems

• Lead team for multi-level technical support for diagnosing, reproducing and fixing billing and charging service issues

• Drives end to end ownership of the Vodafone Fixed customer billing journey, refund process, the quality of service performance and the processes supporting the product/service.

• Ensures agile way of working with devops practices and CI/CD development

• Responsible for capacity planing of Billing and Charging systems

• Manages and collaborates across products/vendors and related stakeholders to come up with a compelling solution.

• Ensures achieving / exceeding agreed service levels and KPIs for the Service Support.

• Leads standardization / automation of technical processes.

• Manages and deploys new products and services.

• Manages performance tuning of applications to meet business needs and agreed SLAs.

• Conducts staff performance reviews

• Leads and reports supplier/partner performance

Who you are

• Bachelor’s degree from Computer Science, Electronics / Telecommunications or related fields

• Significant experience on below concepts

- Postpaid life cycle

- Billing

- Mediation

- Order Management

- Rating

- Charging

- Dunning

- Collection

- Payment

• Good command of English due to communications need with wide international vendor ecosystem

• Strong team management experience in telecommunications IT services

• Engages people on the direction and goals for team or project and excellent role model

• High level of expertise in service incident handling, troubleshooting and root cause analysis

• Experience in benchmarking and budgeting

• Knowledge of SOX , ISO27001 and other related processes, audits and regulations

• Strong understanding of ITIL based process and customer oriented approach

• Good negotiation and communication skills

• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
