Job Description

Role Purpose:

Role purpose: The Cost Control Lead is accountable for managing P&FM budget across EG & EU as following:
• Manage & report the cost within agreed budgets (Opex & Capex)
• Focal point between P&FM and finance stakeholders

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

• Budget Management & Cost Control (Manage & report the cost within agreed budgets, ensuring spend is prioritised across teams in response to any budget adjustments
Define and develop cost metrics / KPI’s that will provide visibility of a project status, recognize the trends in expenditure profiles and provide the early identification of areas of concern.)
• Business Cases
(Supervise P&FM business cases and follow up with its approval to meet the budget targets)
• Asset numbers Creation Supervision
(Supervise and follow up with assets numbers for the P&FM department based on the customers’ requests)
• Utilities
Ensure all utility payments are paid in timely manner. Provide a quarterly utilities analysis report that identifies trends in consumption and spend.
• Reporting
Provide different analysis and reports to clarify and detect any potential over spending / underspending (Example: Spend per vendor report)
• Internal Stock Take:
Perform quarterly stock takes to ensure process improvement, accurate inventory records, and loss prevention.
