About this Role
We are seeking an individual to support and enhance Revenue Assurance applications for Vodafone UK, with a strong focus on application support, development, and operational stability. This role contributes directly to revenue protection and operational excellence by delivering Revenue Assurance use cases, supporting cloud-based environments, and ensuring reliable service through effective incident management and stakeholder collaboration.
What you will do
- Support product implementations and change requests across Revenue Assurance applications.
- Develop, test, deploy, and support Revenue Assurance use cases across the application lifecycle.
- Provide operational support, including monitoring, incident resolution, and clear communication with stakeholders.
- Maintain and enhance production scripts and automation utilities in UNIX/Linux environments.
- Work within cloud-based platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), including debugging and resolving issues on containerised environments such as GKE.
- Support data ingestion and processing using multiple file formats including ASN, Binary, ASCII, and XML.
- Validate usage controls and platform integrity, adapting controls to evolving business requirements.
- Collaborate with teams supporting telecom BSS systems such as switches, mediation, billing, IN, CRM, and HLR.
- Follow ITIL-aligned processes for incident, problem, change, and release management.
- Contribute to SDLC and STLC activities, including documentation and knowledge transfer.
Who you are
- You bring 2–4 years of experience in Revenue Assurance application support, development, or operations.
- You have strong hands-on experience with UNIX/Linux shell scripting and working knowledge of SQL or PL/SQL.
- You understand telecom domain fundamentals, including call flows and BSS integrations.
- You have experience working with RAID tools such as WEDO RAID, with exposure to Mobileum, Subex, or Cartesian considered an advantage.
- You are comfortable working in cloud and on‑premise environments and resolving production issues effectively.
- You communicate clearly, manage multiple stakeholders with confidence, and approach problems with a solution-focused mindset.
