Job Description


The purpose of this role is to lead the security operations team and be accountable for the development of the enhanced Security Operations Centre Strategy and its delivery.
Specifically focusing on the development of identify, protect and detect aspect of the NIST framework this person will drive tangible improvements within the Security Operations Centre.
Other responsibilities will include:-

  • Accountability for the development of an intelligence strategy and its delivery to add value to the Security Directorate. This will include enhancing the detection capabilities of the Security Operations Centre and looking at continuous improvements.
  • Liaising with critical stakeholders including Security Architecture who will design and build the required tools, CIO and CTO.
  • Deploying future proof strategy.

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • A proven track record in building up and leading multi-faceted SOC functions from a strategic perspective.
  • Experience of delivering SOC frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, Cyber Kill Chain).
  • Background in leading SOCs through digital transformation journeys with a focus on Automation.
  • Proven people management skills with an ability to manage diverse teams on a remote basis.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s Degree preferred.
