Job Description

Step into the spotlight as a vital member of our Cyber Security & Business Resilience Chapter! In this role, you’ll lead efforts to identify and address resilience & security gaps across our products and platforms, ensuring that confidentiality, integrity, and availability of services are protected in line with both internal and external Security and Business Resilience frameworks.

Working closely with Tribes, Squads, and their Leads, you’ll play a key part in embedding a strong and effective resilience culture into everything we do. By helping these teams clearly define and implement resilience requirements, you’ll ensure we stay ahead of the game. You'll also be guiding the documentation and reuse of resilience processes & plans, always keeping in line with our Design Principles.

You’ll lead and own our internal Business Continuity Management System. Your passion for resilience will shine through as you promote awareness and build a culture of resilience across the business.

As we strengthen our Business Resilience capabilities, this role will be key in developing and operating the Tesco Mobile Crisis Management function, supported by other SMEs.

This role requires a minimum of two days a week in either our Slough, Manchester or Welwyn Gardens office.

Who we are

Tesco Mobile is a totally unique business, a 50/50 joint venture between VMO2 and Tesco that launched back in 2003 and has gone from strength to strength as we’ve launched into new services, markets and customer propositions.

Tesco Mobile has more than 5 million customers and is award-winning, instilling agile methodologies and cultivating a fantastic can-do attitude across its teams. We're always on the lookout for the best talent, be that from our two shareholders or the wider industry.

Working at Tesco Mobile means being employed by one of our joint venture shareholders – Virgin Media O2 or Tesco Mobile, our Head Office vacancies are advertised under both brands. Our culture is uniquely Tesco Mobile with a great sense of community, but with all the benefits of working for one of the shareholders as well. We pride ourselves on being a company where everyone’s welcome and truly feels able to be themselves. We not only celebrate diversity but recognise the value and opportunity it brings in helping us to care for human connection – we are supermarket mobile!

  • Creative reporting and showcasing skills, with a flair for presentation that resonates with all audiences and encourages participation.

  • Good self-motivation and a knack for setting objectives, driving personal and team growth while supporting an inclusive atmosphere where everyone can thrive.
  • Experience of incident and/or Crisis Management is an advantage, but not essential.
