What you’ll be doing..

  • Supporting and mentoring on how to help develop and nurture both experienced and other members of the DWP ( P&E) teams and cross functional teams.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders and partners for process optimization to deliver on optimal employee experience.
  • Design Thinking , Process automation driven strategies for improving digital experience
  • Budget management expertise - Must have experience
  • Promote a modern approach to technology and cultivate innovation across teams
  • Partnering with IT product and platform teams to bring in high levels of automation and self-service as part of the digital transformation.
  • Collaboration with Service desk, EUS, CITRIX, NW teams to drive resolution to issues.
  • Managing stakeholders, Experience First approach, vendor management.
  • Analyzing employee journeys and take transformative actions.
  • Incorporating performance driven culture in the team.
  • Providing ongoing performance feedback, coaching, training and development.
  • Taking appropriate performance improvement action or administering appropriate discipline when employees do not meet performance standards or expectations.
  • Bringing agility in the team by adopting agile methodology.
  • Weekly/Daily reviews with team members and Support functions by providing guidance and monitor their job responsibilities.
  • Eying on using new technologies to reduce tickets, simplifying the process through automation and Digital experience
  • Working well with domestic stakeholders and leaders.
  • Presenting in leadership forums.

Where you'll be working...

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager leadership team

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in Infrastructure Support, Desktop Support, Security and Compliance, Virtual Environment and Project Management
  • Knowledge in Windows and MAC Desktop Engineering,Marimba, Workspace One, Powershell, Bluezone, Assistive technology, Grafana, PowerBI, VZImage, HPDM, SW Distribution
  • Knowledge of SRE practices and principles to build resilient systems and to provide business continuity.
  • Security & compliance tools
  • A solid balance of both technological and managerial skills and abilities
  • Proven experience working in a large, complex, global environment with mixed technology environments and lifecycle management
  • Experience in infrastructure & process automation.
  • Certified Six Sigma.
  • Certified ITIL v3 and above.
  • Leading and managing Systems Engineers focused on designing, developing, testing, and implementing availability, reliability, scalability, and toil reduction solutions
  • Experience in operational data analysis to identify improvement areas by processes, data driven decision making and automation. You should be an engineering-centric leader.
  • Driving continuous improvement across applications and platforms within your oversight to meet the evolving needs of the business
  • Experience in Endpoint Strategy ( Planning and Engineering) & Citrix Environment
  • Experience managing modern Windows operating systems and MAC ecosystems
  • Technical writing and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of customer organization
  • Proficient in debugging and troubleshooting
  • People and project management skills
  • Fluency in English.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Master Degree in Business management and information technology
  • Experience in Managing an at least Twelve member team.
  • Six or more years of experience managing people & service desk operations.
  • Experience in observability,, service level objective alerting, and telemetry collection using tools such as Grafana, Zabbix, Splunk, and others
  • Strong communicator with presentation, Interpersonal and Problem solving skills.
  • Experience in Root Cause analysis & identifying/strategizing large scale automation.
  • Experience leading a technical team.
  • Experience in Mobile Device Management.
  • Hands on in areas of desktop administration & support.
  • Knowledge in Application packaging tools, Distribution tools, Security and compliance tools
