What you’ll be doing...
Managing a team of Engineers architecting container platforms and solutions to the applications teams across business units
Providing Technical Leadership and Strategic Direction in architecture, design and automation of Container Platforms in different environments like EKS. OCP, GKE, OKE and AKE
Driving value through building reliable and scalable container platforms for customers (Internal users) aligned with business outcomes such as Speed to market, Driving Innovation, Increasing Performance & Availability.
Providing solutions to critical issues by collaborating and partnering with Vendors and other IT Teams for a faster resolution.
Leading the team in building compelling technical demonstrations, presentations, and business value documents
Managing platform teams and responding to issues with urgency, that includes crisis bridges (24x7), managing daily checkpoint calls, help prioritize new features and tracking of open items on a daily basis.
Working closely with Architects, Engineers, Portfolio Teams, Security and US counterparts to constantly evolve the platform as a world class one
Analyzing new opportunities/technologies in the Container world and making appropriate suggestions to influence architecture / technology direction.
Responsible for setting up performance objectives, development plan and support the team members shape their career
What we’re looking for a Dynamic Technology Leader with..
Experience in building high-performance container platforms/products/applications that are scalable and resilient across hybrid container platforms(EKS, OCP, GKE, OKE or AKE)
Exposure to different components of a container platform like, Logging, Monitoring, Security and SRE practices
Sound knowledge in Open Policy Agent, Flux, ArgoCD and other cloud native tools
Good exposure to IT infrastructure, troubleshooting and issue resolutions
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Ability to analyse & interpret business requirements and customer interactions to anticipate and guide client needs.
Ability to proactively handle customer expectations and lead all aspects of customer communications throughout the customer lifecycle.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Excellent in communication, conflict management, presentation and problem solving
Good in delegation, performance management and building partnership with different stakeholders
Open minded to embrace change, possess good work ethics, integrity and professional attitude.
Excellent client management skills, bias for action, taking accountability, a validated ability to perform hands-on technical work when needed, and ability to lead projects and global teams.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Certifications - CKA, CKAD, Openshift or any other Container certifications
Experience with leading high performing teams
