The Data Science and Data Engineering Product Manager is responsible for driving the development and delivery of data-driven products and services that meet the needs of our customers. This role will work closely with data scientists, data engineers, and other product teams to ensure that our products are built on a solid foundation of data and analytics.
What you'll be doing:
Develop and execute product strategy for data science and data engineering
Work with data scientists and data engineers to identify and prioritize product opportunities
Translate business requirements into technical specifications
Manage the development and delivery of data-driven products and services
Ensure that products are built on a solid foundation of data and analytics
Track and measure the success of data-driven products and services
Identify and mitigate risks associated with data and analytics
Partner with other product teams to ensure that data and analytics are integrated into all products and services
You'll need to have:
Bachelor's degree or six or more years of work experience.
Experience in product management
Experience in data science or data engineering
Strong understanding of data and analytics
Proven ability to develop and execute product strategy
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Even better if you have:
- Experience in Understanding customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Agile Methodologies: Employing agile principles for iterative development and continuous improvement
- Data Analysis: Interpreting data to make informed decisions about product development and optimization
- Adaptability: Thriving in fast-paced environments and adjusting to changing priorities.
