What you’ll be doing...

As a Digital Media Business Intelligence & Operations Strategist, within Verizon’s in-house digital media center of excellence, you will be responsible for reporting deliverables as well as migration and unification of media data from multiple sources.

You bring both media analytics and operational expertise, understanding data warehouse processes and architecture. You will also support the Verizon Consumer Digital Media team in day-to-day reporting and analytical asks.

You will work closely with the Verizon Consumer Digital Media team to set daily-level targets across the marketing funnel and subsequently track media performance against those targets, tying both media targets and performance to business results. You will communicate targets and results with Finance and BI stakeholders across the organization. You will also set up automated workflows to feed Verizon data into custom bidding algorithms across programmatic media.

You have a passion for operations and are always looking for ways to optimize processes with the goal of maximizing efficiency. You will optimize the data gathering and visualization process, by identifying areas of automation to make unified data available in the dashboard for stakeholder access.

Responsibilities include:

  • Project managing the migration and unification of media data from multiple sources.

  • Working cross functionally with the agency and internal stakeholders to outline data unification requirements, timelines, and milestones.

  • Partnering closely with the Digital Media team to outline daily-level targets and actualize performance.

  • Sharing and leading communications on targets and performance to Finance and BI counterparts.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.

  • Three or more years of proven experience as a Marketing Data Analyst, preferably in the retail space with online and in-store prospect & customer touchpoints.

  • Experience maintaining complex spreadsheets.

  • Experience and advanced knowledge of Excel, GSheet, Tableau, Adobe Analytics, GA4, BigQuery, and/or Looker.

  • Experience and knowledge of the various marketing measurement methods (e.g. last touch, last click, media mix modeling, etc.).

  • Project management experience, with the ability to gather project requirements, outline scope, define milestones and make sure they are met.

  • Knowledge of data sources [e.g. ad servers (CM360, Innovid, etc.), DSPs (e.g. Yahoo!, DV360, Amazon, Trade Desk), paid social ad managers (e.g. Meta, Snapchat, TikTok)].

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science).

  • Experience with data analysis and reporting.

  • Working knowledge of digital marketing planning and buying.

  • Familiarity with marketing data automation, understanding the different data architectures of the various digital marketing self-serve platforms (e.g. Meta, DV360, Google Ads, Trade Desk, etc.).

  • Experience working with marketing measurement tools, including multi-touch attribution, media mix modeling, incrementality testing, matched market testing, and A/B testing.

  • Two or more years of practical experience querying SQL databases.

  • Proactive and self-driven attitude.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Great communication and presentation skills.

If Verizon and this role sound like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every “even better” qualification listed above.

Where you’ll be working
