About the role:

As a Research Engineer your focus will be on developing large, general-purpose vision models to automate labeling tasks. We are looking for someone who is motivated by the recent explosion in research on large joint vision and language models and is excited to apply their experience to building a unique general-purpose tool to dramatically accelerate labeling. Our ideal candidate has recently worked with or experimented with models such as CLIP, GLIP, and ViT or variants such as OWL ViT.

Requirements

Requirements:

• An ability to stay up-to-date with the latest research
• Experience with latest generation Large language models or generalized vision language models.
• Ownership of a DL/ML project - ideally overseeing it from idea to production
• Profound understanding of deep learning, from the underlying math, to the ability to illustrate landmark papers within the vision domain (given enough prep time)
• Experience in a management role or a desire to step into one. A willingness and/or track record of mentoring junior team members
• A self-starter who is willing to adapt their approach to help the company succeed
• Fluent in English

• Experience in a web-based platform or SaaS product
• Full-stack experience - whilst we have dedicated frontend and backend developers, as a Lead understanding the stack end-to-end can benefit your ability to scope out new features.
