The Finance Analyst – UK Trading is responsible for producing detailed weekly performance reporting of UK Main Beach trading. You will provide commercial insight and commentary on key trading drivers and through working closely with the business on trading forecasts, you will play a key role in identifying opportunities and risks within trading as well as their financial impacts.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Responsible for the production of weekly trading reports and the monthly NRB/BRM packs, ensuring the accuracy of KPI reports through review of control checks
  • Support the Finance Manager for Trading to produce the trading targets for all seasons on sale. Build an accurate granular level forecast for both volume intake and margin and work with the MI team to load the forecast into the data warehouse.
  • Support with partnering senior members of the trading team including the Heads of Early & Late Trading.
  • Deputise for Finance Manager in weekly UK KPI meeting where needed.
  • Review and reconcile the Airline and Tour Operator capacity for all seasons, detailing all movements and key changes. Attend bi-weekly meeting with Aviation Planning Director and team to support alignment and understanding of assumptions across the Airline and Tour Operator.
  • Support with Tourism Board data requests, ensuring that the information provided is accurate and delivered on time
  • Production of all key UK & group trading schedules to support UK board, M&A board and GEC meetings.
  • Support production of UK revenue cashflow forecast providing suitable analysis and assessing value of cashflows initiatives

ABOUT YOU

  • Part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent level of experience) with previous experience in a Finance or Accounting role
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Capable of building relationships with business partners
  • Strong communication skills with ability to translate financial information to non-financial stakeholders
  • Ability to work with complexity and ambiguity
  • Ability to work under pressure and independently meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent analytical and numerical reasoning skills
  • Strong proficiency with Excel, including advanced functions
  • Strong systems, process and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive attitude and approach
