Job Description

Who we are:

At TrueLayer, we’re building a global open banking platform that’s changing how money moves and so much more. We make payments and refunds instant, account data accessible and verification seamless — all so innovators in every industry can build better financial experiences for their users.

To date, we’ve raised $270 million from world-renowned investors including Stripe, Tiger Global, Addition and Tencent. We’ve got offices in London, Milan, Dublin and Sydney. And we’re trusted by industry leaders like Revolut, Cazoo and Trading 212… though we’re not stopping here.

Our vision is a financial system that works for everyone. To make that happen, we’re creating original and innovative products that will remove the friction from finance for good. We’re seriously scaling our infrastructure, we’re entering new areas all the time, we’re cornering a whole new category — and we’d like your support to get us there.

We are building our UX Research practice and we are looking for an ambitious and experienced User researcher that can drive the practice, and influence our product strategic direction through insights and data and build the practice from scratch.

As our UX Research Lead you will be able to create real impact and answer uncertainties within the open banking space , build foundations for emerging technologies and and advocate the importance of research within TrueLayer.

You will play a crucial role in shaping how we build and structure research process and influence the way we design and build products which already handle over half of all open banking transactions in the UK, with no signs of slowing down.

These projects will range from end user interviews, better understanding the attitudes towards payments and how user expectations and needs change across geographies, sectors, ages etc. You will also run live experiments to better understand the needs of our end and B2B users to help our product teams define what value to deliver in order for us to increase our market share.

As a UX Research Lead, you will:
