As we head into a period of exciting scaling across multiple new markets, the TrueLayer team’s strategy will be directly linked to the output of the strategic People Team.

And that’s why we need you. We’re looking for a People Operations Lead to enable the articulation, building and protection of our culture as we grow. You’ll support us in building a high-quality People function, ensuring all our Employees have the best experience throughout their journey with TrueLayer. You will work supporting our People Operations currently a team of two and working closely alongside Talent and People teams taking responsibility for onboarding all of our new employees, assisting with visa sponsorships and handling post-offer administration.

As our People Operations Lead you will:

  • Lead the operations team in building a super slick operations function that integrates our systems and looks to automate our processes
  • Contribute to building a framework of our People processes that will enable us to standardise how we work and connect with other teams
  • Create a high-quality onboarding process that leverages tech and creates an unforgettable experience for our TrueLayeristas teams making our onboarding processes run like clockwork to enable scaling
  • Your team will be responsible for post-offer administration including processing all reference checks, background checks, employment contracts, visa sponsorship and relocation assistance across the UK, Italy and various other countries but we are looking to grow the services that this team offer, you will contribute to defining that
  • Liaise with external parties including, but not limited to background check services, employers of record and immigration lawyers
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for all new joiners to ensure they have a smooth and consistent experience
  • Own our HRIS system and data and know-how to get the best out of this, know how to look for optimisation and automation opportunities and build this knowledge in your team
  • See the importance of analytics and be enthusiastic about what and how we report on our People data
  • Support on People related administration, from employment documents to system support and administration.

Requirements

What we need from you:

  • Previous experience working as a People Operations Lead or within an HR Operations team and now you're ready to make the step up to Lead;
  • Deep experience documenting processes and policies. You know what good governance looks like and you can assess risk and tell us what needs to improve;
  • You know how to create process flows and you like doing it;
  • You are familiar with case management systems and different approaches and you can’t wait to get started improving ours;
  • Good understanding of contract management systems, HR databases, or ATS software such as Greenhouse and HiBob;
  • Great multitasking and prioritisation skills;
  • Have solid attention to detail and great communication skills.
  • Ability to grow and nature a team, demonstrating what good looks like and creating a framework to work from

We would be really excited if you have:

  • An understanding of contract management systems, HR databases, or ATS software such as Greenhouse and HiBob;
  • Knowledge of visa sponsorship within the UK and Europe
  • Are excited by Fintech and are tech proficient
