Job Description

Who we are:

At TrueLayer, we’re building a global open banking platform that’s changing how money moves and so much more. We make payments and refunds instant, account data accessible and verification seamless — all so innovators in every industry can build better financial experiences for their users.

To date, we’ve raised $270 million from world-renowned investors including Stripe, Tiger Global, Addition and Tencent. We’ve got offices in London, Milan and Dublin. And we’re trusted by industry leaders like Revolut, Coinbase and Nutmeg… though we’re not stopping here.

Our vision is a financial system that works for everyone. To make that happen, we’re creating original and innovative products that will remove the friction from finance for good. We’re seriously scaling our infrastructure, we’re entering new areas all the time, we’re cornering a whole new category — and we’d like your support to get us there.

Description

TrueLayer is looking for a creative and results-oriented Content Producer to join our global content team. Reporting to the Head of Content and working closely with our content marketers, writers and designers, you’ll be responsible for delivering on our content strategy to promote awareness and demand for TrueLayer on a global scale. You’re a content creator and storyteller at heart, with expertise in directing, storyboarding, scripting and editing multimedia content, from podcasts and talking-head videos to webinars — with the portfolio to prove it. You have a deep knowledge of how to promote engagement and organic reach through your content on digital channels and social media. You always put your audience first, creating easy-to-digest content that educates, entertains and inspires audiences — turning followers into fans and visitors into subscribers. You’re at ease working with different teams across a business, uncovering the best stories and pulling in the right experts to support your content projects. You’re comfortable pitching ideas to leadership and building consensus across teams. When it comes to recording, you know how to make colleagues, partners and customers feel at ease in front of a camera to achieve the best results. You’re accomplished in the basics of audio and video editing and are experienced at working with design teams, videographers and specialist agencies to organise content production end to end. Broadcast journalism experience would be great, as well as experience working in payments, fintech, SaaS or technology companies.

As our Digital Content Producer, you will:

  • Get under the skin of our business and technical audiences, understanding their opportunities and goals
  • Deliver on our content strategy, creating innovative, memorable, well-researched content that creates awareness and demand and differentiates our brand
  • Be the in-house content lead for multimedia formats, leading on production processes, tooling, best practices and training — working closely with design and brand teams
  • Make sure we are getting the most out of every piece of content by reusing and repurposing long-form content into different formats for different channels
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to uncover the right stories and subject matter expertise

Requirements

What we need from you:

  • Proven experience creating content in a technology company or fast-growing, global business
  • A professional portfolio of material showcasing video and podcast content across multiple marketing channels such as social media, digital and events
  • Understanding of full-funnel content marketing, content distribution and promotion
  • A data-driven approach: you are able to report on content performance and use performance metrics to optimise your content
  • High-quality written and verbal communication and an eye for detail
  • Creative mindset, effectively seeking ideas for content pieces
  • The ability to balance multiple work streams in a forward-thinking environment
  • A bias towards action and getting things done
  • A genuine interest in fintech, payments and open banking

We would be particularly excited if you have:

  • Broadcast journalism experience
  • Experience hosting/making on-camera appearances
  • Experience working at a B2B fintech startup and the work samples to prove it
  • An understanding of API platform technology
  • Previous experience creating content for technical business audiences (developers, product managers, etc)
  • Experience building a video/audio content strategy from the ground up

What you can expect from us:

  • Competitive salary and meaningful equity in the company 💰
  • Flexible hours and hybrid working — work from home 🏡 and our incredible offices in London 🇬🇧 Milan 🇮🇹 and Dublin 🇮🇪
  • A £150 remote-working budget to help you set up your home office 💺
  • Flexible holiday policy, with 24 days as standard ✈️
  • Flexible bank holidays, so you can take those days whenever you like 🌍
  • 2 volunteering days to support causes important to you 🌳
  • Generous parental leave, above and beyond statutory requirements and with no minimum tenure 👩‍👩‍👦
  • Enhanced pension contribution at 4% & 4% 👵🏽 👴🏽
  • Private health insurance from the day you start 🧑🏽‍⚕️
  • 12 fully-paid wellbeing days a year and your birthday off (on top of the holiday allowance) 🕊️
  • Membership of mental wellbeing platform Spill 🧘🏽‍♀️
  • £1,000 to spend on learning & development each year 📚

At TrueLayer, we don’t just do inclusion and diversity. We embrace people that have different opinions, perspectives and personalities. Because we believe that by seeing the world from all sorts of angles, we can make life better for all the people who live in it. So we want you to know that the things that make you, you — like your age, ability, background and identity — are things that we celebrate and support. All we ask is that you believe in what you do (and know what an API is).
