Job Description

About Us:

At Ticket Tailor, our mission is to empower a diverse range of event creators by making it easy and affordable to sell tickets. Our flexible and fair pricing helps event budgets go further. First-class customer care means support is always on hand - day or night. And we pride ourselves in building a simple platform with a customer-first mindset. 💻💛

Our team is small but mighty, driven by feedback and focussed on simplicity. We issue over 1M tickets every month for events of all shapes and sizes – from the UK’s only floating puppet theatre to Beyonce-themed bottomless brunches and sell-out Santa’s grottos. 🍜🎅

We’re also the world’s biggest independent ticketing platform. With no investors to answer to, or unrealistic growth targets (at the expense of things that matter). This allows us to grow on purpose – with purpose – so that every event ticket sold with Ticket Tailor can have a positive impact. We're carbon neutral (having offset our entire history of emissions), donate to climate causes for every ticket sold, and most recently became a certified B Corp, joining a global community of businesses putting people and the planet first. 🌍🌳

About The Role:

As our Operations Assistant, you'll work in a supporting role across three key areas of the business: operations, growth/marketing and customer experience. Within these functions, you will take ownership of day to day business tasks and help to deliver projects aligned with our company strategy. You’ll play a key role in making our workplace a comfortable and fun place to work (both in the office, and remotely!), with lots of room to be creative and take initiative on new ideas for how we operate and work together.

The position will report into our Director of Operations, who you’ll work with to deliver your projects. There will also be a close working relationship and regular check-ins with senior team members in the growth, marketing and customer experience teams.

Please note this is a four day week position, with Fridays off!

  • Monitoring the events on our platform to check for any breaches of our Acceptable Use Policy

  • Supporting our social media and blog outreach

  • Working on research projects with our growth team, with a focus on growing our customer base

About you:

  • Excellent written communication skills, with strong attention to detail

  • Enjoy interacting with people and confident with verbal communication

  • Able to take initiative and work well independently and proactively

  • Naturally organised and diligent with time-management, with confidence in managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines

  • Good at problem solving and finding ways to make tasks more efficient

  • Proficient understanding of spreadsheets and some numerical/analytical capabilities

  • Knowledge of Google Docs, Google Spreadsheets, Google Slides, or similar programs such as the Microsoft suite

The Process:

The FlexScore® is the result of a rigorous 2-step verification of a company’s flexibility

Our assessment is based on the six key elements of flexibility: location, hours, autonomy, benefits, role modelling and work-life balance.

We ask the hard questions so you don’t have to.
