As a Senior Finance Assistant, you will be a core member of the Finance team. Reporting to the Commercial Finance & Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the preparation and submission of various VAT and Sales Tax Returns, as well as ensuring the business is VAT compliant.

Please note the salary for this role is £27,750k.

You Will:

  • Ensure transactions are processed with correct VAT / US sales tax for all jurisdictions where registered
  • Ensure any corrections required prior to monthly/quarterly returns are processing in NetSuite
  • Monthly preparation and submission of UK VAT Return
  • Preparation and submission of others returns e.g. UAE quarterly VAT Return, US sales tax returns, EU & EU OSS returns
  • Investigating and resolving SuiteSync errors
  • Investigating stock discrepancies with logistics team, and process any necessary adjustments
  • Journals e.g. InterCompany, FX journals

You Have:

  • Excel essential
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of domestic & non-domestic (where relevant) VAT rules and treatments
  • NetSuite preferred
  • Slack preferred
  • Strong numeracy and communication skills
  • Time management and attention to detail are key
  • Self-disciplined and able to work under pressure and deadlines
