Job Description

As the Merchandising Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the regional revenue, stock and margin goals are achieved. You will own the sales and stock planning and trading for the department, best partnering with the Buying, Sourcing, Digital Commerce, Marketing, Production and Logistics teams to ensure product strategy is best communicated to the consumer through all possible internal levers and best service is provided to the end consumer.

You will manage junior members in the Merchandising team, leading from the front, ensuring all BAU tasks and new processes are managed end to end, with you as the best practice point of contact. You will lead the team on a daily basis- ensuring all members consistently have the tools and framework to be able to meet/exceed their KPI’s.

Reporting to our Head of Product & Merchandising, you will drive and communicate any business-critical communication that needs to happen across the business. You must be a confident communicator, ensuring the product vision is clear in order to support other departments in the business.

Please note the salary for this role is between £40-£45K.

Requirements

You Will:

  • Lead the weekly trade meeting, guide on actions to generate revenue, report on content performance and guide product focus across shoots, grid, DTC and CRM weekly
  • Stay balanced in complicated and tasking situations, clearly communicating next steps across the business to reach a resolve
  • Ensure accurate stock type and product type attribution to manage ST targets and drive lifecycle strategies
  • Identify processes and tasks that no longer serve the department and amend these to support revenue targets
  • Oversee all Merchandising projects to meet or exceed sales, margin and stock targets
  • Provide merchandising guidance to the ‘product’ team on the affiliate and VIP check-outs to support commercial strategy

You Have:

  • Motivation to be part of a fast-paced, late-stage start-up
  • Resilience and positive attitude through an ever-changing environment and new business initiatives
  • Strong communication and organisation skills and stay commercially aware through retail news
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, Docs and Slides
  • Knowledge of brands and current trends
