Job Description

Reporting to our Copy Manager, you will produce engaging, market-leading copy that resonates with a Millennial and Gen Z audience across all Threads’ social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube). You can find yourself producing memes and other social content to boost engagement whilst keeping on top of fashion trends and micro-trends, as well as giving Threads’ an authoritative POV in all written comms.

Please note the salary for this role is between £25,000- £28k per annum based on experience.

Requirements

You Will:

  • Produce technically accurate, engaging copy across all social platforms - Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat - in-line with the copy style guide and the Threads TOV
  • Write memes and witty captions to help boost engagement
  • Support on engaging copy for social ads, emails and other ad hoc requests
  • Collaborate with the Editorial team to ensure visual and written narrative is cohesive
  • Contribute ideas for new content
  • Stay up to date with social, language and industry trends to share with the wider team and apply relevant findings in copy
  • Conduct competitor research on social platforms

You Have:

  • An understanding of the social platforms Threads uses - Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, YouTube, and are a native user
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills - strong grasp of spelling and grammar is essential
  • The ability to make people think or laugh through a witty turn of phrase
  • Knowledge about designer brands, fashion, trends, and the luxury industry
  • The skill and knowledge to communicate a fashion point of view while adhering to a tone of voice
