Job Description

About Signal - Who are we?

We're on a mission to change the way businesses make decisions with our cutting-edge AI technology. To achieve that, we’re looking for passionate people to join our open and unconventional workplace. Our inclusive environment welcomes skills and experiences from diverse backgrounds, and defines who we are.

About the role - What’s your purpose?

We’re looking for an experienced Senior BI Analyst to join our fast growing London team.

We’re looking for someone who cares deeply about understanding our business and customers, who can communicate clearly, and can drive actions independently.

You’ll work closely with multiple parts of the organisation, acting as the intersection point of all things data, and helping answer questions across the organisation.

Responsibilities - What will you be doing?

You will help us make better data driven decisions and help us understand the following questions and challenges:

  • What are our customers engaging with and why
  • How impactful has a recent product release been and how should we improve
  • How are we as a business performing towards our objectives
  • How can we automate the presentation of key metrics that are driving our business

Requirements

Who are we looking for?

  • You have a background in data modelling, ETL and 3+ years of experience with developing Data Warehouse infrastructure
  • You have an advanced ability in SQL and solid experience with Python, R and Git would be a bonus
  • Experience with DBT or other relevant data transformation tools
  • Experience in modelling data for Tableau (or other BI tools such as PowerBI, Looker, Qlik etc.)
  • You are comfortable with and excited by a fast-paced and often changing environment, eager to solve new problems and learn new skills in order to succeed

Don’t meet every single requirement listed? Academic research has shown that women or people of other underrepresented groups tend not to apply for jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At Signal AI, we know that diverse teams perform better so if your experience doesn’t fit perfectly but you’re excited about this role, we’d love for you to apply anyway.

We’re committed to building and fostering an inclusive environment where Signallers feel welcomed, valued and listened to - an environment where they thrive being their true selves.
