Job Title: New Business Sales Executive

Reports to: Head of Sales

Location: Bristol / Hybrid working

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £45,000 per annum plus commission

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Experience division across our titles including HRZone, MyCustomer and TrainingZone. These channels are an invaluable support to vendors looking to build brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation with their target customers across Customer experience, HR and L&D.

Working closely with the Sales and Delivery team, you’ll be responsible for driving revenue from lapsed customers, and targeted new business customers from all sectors interested in reaching our audiences.

We’re looking for someone who is able to hit the ground running - someone with a ‘hunter’ mindset - high energy, high activity, and an expert ‘closer’ able to conduct high quality conversations with decision makers across our client landscape.

What we’d like from you

  • Clear sales experience (ideally within publishing sales)
  • A proven track record in driving new business sales, exceeding targets
  • Experience working with technology companies, particularly in delivering media, event, and market intelligence propositions is desirable.
  • Experience of creatively​ ​using​ ​sponsorship​ ​assets​ ​to​ ​build​ ​and​ ​demonstrate​ ​innovative​ ​marketing programmes​ ​that​ ​will​ ​add​ ​genuine​ ​value​ ​to​ ​potential​ ​clients​ .

  • Experience working with agencies
  • Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work autonomously and follow your own initiative.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Available to travel to client meetings and events across UK
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to forge relationships quickly.
