What you'll do

The team designs and organizes knowledge transfer assets and education programs for SAP User Groups and customer communities.

The working student (f/m/d) will have an opportunity to work in areas such as stakeholder management, relationship management, strategic and corporate communication, design and development of customer programs, business development projects, workshop, and event management.


Tasks will include:

  • Support SAP User Group and Customer activities like workshops, events, webcasts, training, curriculum setup, etc.
  • Support planning of strategic events, meetings and webcasts for SAP User Groups and customer communities, e.g. Transformation Curriculum, Move to Cloud initiative, RISE with SAP
  • Design, develop and conduct Reporting and Dashboards using MS Office and SAP tools and applications (SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Business Technology Platform, SAP Build)
  • Design and prepare regular communication for SAP User Groups and customer communities (social media, newsletter, SAP.com, notification services, etc.)
  • Collaborate and align with internal as well as external stakeholders regarding knowledge transfer, business development and communications for SAP User Groups and Customer Communities
  • Handle diverse operations and tasks for SAP User Groups, Customer Communities and Liaison Manager


What you bring

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
  • Preferred fields of study: Business Administration, Business Management, Business Information Technology, Marketing, Media, Communications
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint), additional skills in graphic design and programming languages are a plus
  • Language skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in German and English, other languages are a plus
  • Soft skills: Open-minded personality and a solution-based approach to problem solving, enthusiasm, team-orientation, creativity and flexibility, digital native, proactive and self-driven working style
  • Willing to work in an international setup and virtual team structures, incl. strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Reporting and analytical capabilities


Meet your team

The Global SAP User Groups Organization is a unit within the OCEO board area that collaborates with global SAP User Groups as our strategic partner and voice of customers. SAP User Groups drive value and adoption of SAP Products and Solution and offer a platform of exchange, knowledge transfer and influencing development. We have two key areas supporting customers to adopt innovations and to define a strategic and sustainable roadmap:

  1. Global SAP User Groups Organization: Manages SAP User Groups as a key driver of knowledge transfer and innovation adoption for our broad customer base and fosters the partnership with our SAP User Groups as key influencer for SAP (http://www.sap.com/usergroups).
  2. Customer Trust and Adoption Services (CTAS): CTAS provides transparency and insights and connects customers and user communities with experts. CTAS offers for Customers and SAP User Groups services, guides and best practices to achieve a high maturity level and to establish a long-term collaboration and relationship.


Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
