About the team

Welcome to the XS UAA for XSA team, a vibrant group of professionals dedicated to pushing the boundaries of technology with our innovative Java-based platform. While our work is built on Cloud Foundry, our solutions are tailored as an on-premise product, offering unique challenges and opportunities distinct from standard cloud deployments.

Our team is tasked with both development support and pioneering new development initiatives, ensuring a dynamic environment rich with learning and growth potential. What you’ll do:

Location: Sofia

This is 1 year contract

You will immersed in a variety of essential topics and technologies that will enrich your internship experience:

  • Identity and Access Management: Dive deep into XS UAA, mastering the intricacies of user account management and authentication processes. You will gain hands-on experience with security protocols such as SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect (OIDC), learning how they operate to ensure secure user authentication and authorization.
  • Java Development and Best Practices: Enhance your programming skills by working extensively with Java, applying clean code principles and leveraging design patterns. You will be encouraged to produce maintainable, efficient, and high-quality code.
  • Spring Framework and Spring Boot: Gain expertise in these robust frameworks, key to developing scalable and flexible applications. You'll learn to harness their capabilities to streamline development tasks and build enterprise-grade solutions.
  • Security Certificates and Protocol Implementation: Understand the role and implementation of security certificates in safeguarding data transmission and validating identities. You will learn how to integrate and manage these certificates within the XS UAA to ensure robust security measures.
  • Cloud Foundry On-Premise Adaptation: Discover how Cloud Foundry can be adapted for on-premise solutions, tackling the challenges and strategies necessary for effective integration while maintaining system reliability and performance.
  • Software Quality and Development Practices: Work within a team that prioritizes clean code and disciplined software development, focusing on creating scalable and maintainable solutions using industry-standard best practices.
  • Collaborative Problem-Solving: Experience a diverse and supportive team environment that encourages shared learning and innovative solutions, benefiting from diverse perspectives that enrich technical problem-solving and creative thinking.

Who you are:

  • Foundational Technical Knowledge: A basic understanding of Java programming is essential, along with familiarity in concepts or willingness to learn about frameworks like Spring and Spring Boot.
  • Interest in Security Protocols: Curiosity or prior knowledge in security protocols such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and handling security certificates. Candidates should be eager to delve into identity and access management features.
  • Commitment to Quality: An appreciation for clean code principles and design patterns, with a disposition to learn and apply them in real-world applications for developing robust and maintainable solutions.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to think critically and approach challenges with innovative solutions, keen to learn the intricacies of cloud-foundry based, on-premise development.
  • Collaborative Spirit: A strong willingness to engage and contribute in a diverse team environment, fostering open communication and teamwork.
