Meet your team
You will shape and drive within SAP the technology and transformation topics to secure our long-term margin ambitions and strengthen our cloud capabilities further with your strong project management skills. Thereby, you will work on concrete projects as well as supporting to formulate strategies in different delivery transformational areas.

What you´ll do
In your role as a Project Manager for the Simplify SAP focus program, you will work closely with the business as well as our internal process and IT teams to operationalize new, strategic commercial offerings as part of the newly formed sub-project 'Commercial Model E2E Execution.' You will need to engage with senior leaders across all board areas to ensure that the launch is guided by fact-based discussions and decision making, ensuring that all process and technical dependencies are addressed to ensure a successful go-live.

Tasks

  • Drive project management topics in specific areas of ownership and manage progress and key outcomes with the stakeholders.
  • Proactive stakeholder and expectation management; build-up/maintain large network across all involved roles on operational level to support collaboration & execution
  • Execute against (project) goals to meet overarching transformational objectives, review impact execution status together with Value Management team
  • Other project management functions like Stakeholder management, conducting workshops leading to identification of dependencies, pre-requisites & key design decisions, reporting to management and manage the E2E implementation of the solution scope


What you bring

  • University degree or equivalent in Engineering, Business Informatics, Informatics, Business Administration or other relevant disciplines
  • Profound understanding of SAP’s Cloud business, strategy and operations, its services, solutions and organization
  • Proficiency and understanding of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MSPP, MS SharePoint, MS Planer, SAP Solution Manager, Mural and other MS tools would be an added advantage
  • PMI-ACP, Prince2 Agile, Scrum, SAFe, SAP Activate or any other Agile methodology – Trained or certified or both: This is highly preferred but not a must
  • Very good communication skills at senior executive level to secure buy-in via active involvement & objective decision making
  • Stakeholder management, leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills, ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience
  • 4+ years of working experience with proven track record in strategic consulting or cloud delivery roles
  • 4+ years of working experience in Project management
  • Knowledge and understanding of SAP Solution Portfolio, SAP Rise Methodology, Cloud & Clean Core Strategy, SAP Lean IX, Signavio and Cloud ALM & SAP Business AI is an added advantage
  • Solid experience in driving critical and cross-functional projects/programs
  • Track record of conceptual as well as execution capabilities in cross-unit environment
  • International and cross-cultural working experience
