What you’ll do:


You will be joining the User Experience Design team for the SAP Supply Chain Management, a key pillar in the SAP Cloud portfolio. Our team is responsible for designing solutions that shape the future of businesses in one of the largest market segments our company supports.

Your expertise and the insights you generate will directly influence design decisions and the development of intelligent, user-centric enterprise software. As a Senior User Researcher, you will:

  • Lead End-to-End Research Initiatives: Drive and execute user research from discovery to usability testing and usage analytics, working closely with design, product management, and development teams.
  • Collaborate with end users, customers, and customer-facing teams to deeply understand user requirements and pain points, enabling a user-centric approach in product design.
  • Coordinate co-innovation workshops with customers, designers, and product managers to identify and prioritize user needs for successful productization.
  • Work closely with product management to communicate and coordinate with customers for arranging virtual or onsite user sessions. Ensure all legal requirements, such as Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), are signed and in place.


Assist product management in moderating customer discussions to uncover insights that inform product strategy and development.

What you bring:

  • Around 8 years of professional experience in user research, ideally within the enterprise software domain. Experience in the area of Supply Chain, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence is beneficial.
  • Degree in Psychology, Cognitive Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a comparable field.
  • Mandatory: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German, with the ability to clearly convey research insights to diverse stakeholders.Track Record in conducting impactful user research projects for business applications, showcasing a strong empathy for end users.
  • Proficiency in a range of qualitative and quantitative research methods and experience with tools like UserZoom, Respondent, and UserInterviews.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills to successfully drive global-scale projects.
  • Curiosity to understand complex enterprise processes is of high importance in our domain.
