Job Description

We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

What you'll do:

Summary: SAP is launching a bold, long-term initiative to explore the transformative potential of Quantum Technologies in enterprise software. Anchored within the Office of the CTO, we are building a high-caliber, world-class team of experts to create a center of expertise for Quantum Computing. This team drives SAP's strategy, orchestrates development efforts across the company, and manages the external stakeholder landscape.

As the Senior Technology Project Specialist, you will be the central hub for planning, coordinating, and tracking all quantum computing projects across SAP. Reporting directly to the Head of Quantum, you will be instrumental in creating and managing the project management framework that ensures transparency for senior leadership and aligns efforts across multiple business units and locations.

The Role:

· Establish and manage a professional program management structure for all quantum computing initiatives across SAP, in close collaboration with project managers in the respective Lines of Business (LoBs).

· Plan, track, and coordinate the scope, milestones, and budget for a diverse portfolio of quantum projects, in alignment with the frontrunner teams.

· Serve as the central point of contact for all quantum project activities, ensuring seamless communication and alignment between the central Quantum team, LoB development teams, and other stakeholders.

· Manage and consolidate project reporting to provide full transparency for senior management, including preparing materials for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and fulfilling ad-hoc reporting requests.

· Proactively identify and manage cross-project dependencies, risks, and issues, facilitating their resolution to ensure overall program success.

· Support the Head of Quantum in orchestrating the overall quantum program and driving operational excellence within the central team and its extended network.

What you bring:

· Proven track record in project and program management, ideally within a complex, global technology environment.

· Solid foundational knowledge of Quantum Computing principles and the current technology landscape. You must understand the concepts to manage the projects effectively.

· Excellent organizational and coordination skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and track scope, budget, and milestones.

· Strong experience in creating and managing reporting for senior management, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise updates.

· Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across different Lines of Business, locations, and hierarchies.

· Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English.

· A highly professional, proactive, and structured working style.

· Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment at the forefront of an emerging technology.
