Within Strategy & Operations, our COO team “SAP Globalization Operations” is the trusted advisor for this unit. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Technical Project Consultant. This role requires an understanding of SAP Localization, as well as strong problem-solving thinking and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in enhancing the Jira requirements framework to reflect evolving business needs with regard to ongoing Localization topics.
  • Independently evaluating feasible technical implementations of new projects, processes, functionalities, and fields in SAPJira, based on specifications provided by business process owners.
  • Providing technical consultation and executing the implementations of approved solutions in SAPJira to ensure effective delivery.
  • Support in managing Jira Requests raised by Development units while setting priorities.
  • Aligning Localization Requirement Project configuration changes with central System Administration Team to get test configurations implemented in a timely manner.
  • Assuming the responsibilities of the Jira Unit Administrator during absences to ensure seamless operations.
  • Generating transparency and supporting business decisions with system-based data, for example, with the aim of ensuring the fast delivery of legal changes, while driving the adoption of Delivery Compliance.
  • Leveraging technical expertise by driving activities on setting up dashboards and analyzing requirements for emerging technologies such as Business Data Cloud and AI-technologies.
  • Supporting the Leadership team in ad-hoc tasks and requests

Role Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in working in international software companies.
  • 2+ years of experience in business operation functions.
  • Work experience in global and virtual teams.
  • Project and/or product management experience is a plus.
  • Proven track record in senior management support and C Level executive communication.
  • Professional with an academic education BA or higher in Computer Science, Science or Business. MBA or similar degree.
  • Outcome/result-oriented, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
  • Ability to deliver quality work under time constraints.
  • Strong can-do attitude and growth mindset
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Fluent in English
  • German Language skills are a plus.
