Center of Expertise EMEA supports our Premium Engagement customers in their digital transformation. We sustain the adoption of SAP software and ensure that our customers can successfully plan, implement, integrate and operate their software, including continuous improvement, quality management, problem solving and knowledge transfer.

YOUR FUTURE ROLE

Your role involves delivery of technical and application services within customer engagements. Long term engagements with dedicated Premium Engagement customers are also part of the job. You need very good skills and capabilities within the area of SAP’s Environment Health and Safety (EH&S) suite of products or sustainability applications.

Additionally, we expect that you are a decent problem solver with the ability to communicate effectively in an international environment. According to your experience, strengths, and customer needs, you will conduct some of the following tasks:

  • Analyze highly complex business processes including root cause analysis and optimization in heterogenous system landscapes.
  • Together with other experts deliver remote and onsite services for global customers supporting with system optimization, conceptual planning as well as empowering the customers with newest best practice knowledge.
  • Be actively involved in the preparation, conception, realization, and Go Live of customer implementation projects.
  • Demonstrate the ability to plan, run, and manage blueprint workshops/meetings with internal and external clients.
  • Analyze design and implementation approaches in at least one of the solution areas mentioned above.
  • Assist in defining the scope of a project/opportunities, estimating efforts and project timelines.
  • Be a part of a cross-functional team assisting our customers in their transformation journey to cloud
  • Be a team player, building up strong networks within SAP and working collaboratively and passionately with others (this is one of the key cornerstones for our success).
  • Be a team lead for service delivery teams and escalation teams taking over more responsibility when your expertise level allows it. You will receive the necessary training for it!
  • Mentor and train the Early Talents in our team.

YOUR PROFILE

  • University degree in computer science, business information technology, mathematics, physics, engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5-6 years of experience as developer, consultant, or support engineer in one or more of the areas mentioned above.
  • Practical experience in managing customers, SAP implementation projects, service deliveries and/or project management.
  • Ability to work under pressure, in critical situations and under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to drill down into technical or functional issues and solve complex and detailed problems.
  • Ability to deliver clear, concise presentations and present complex information in a clear and precise manner.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to customers.
  • Optional: generic programming skills in ABAP.
  • Fluent English. German is a plus.
