What you’ll build

The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. This is more than an internship, it’s the foundation for a career built on connection, creativity, and impact.

Position title: SAP iXp Intern – Software Developer

Location: Montreal, Quebec

Expected start date to end date: January 2026 – August 2026/January 2027

• Work closely with senior engineers and product managers to understand real-world product requirements and participate in technical design discussions.
• Develop new features that solve real problems for our customers.
• Build and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end) that help keep our products reliable at scale.
• Troubleshoot and debug full-stack issues — you’ll learn how to break things down and fix them the right way.
• Experiment, explore, and stay on top of emerging technologies and industry trends.

What You’ll bring

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in CS, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of core programming fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
• Familiarity with at least one front-end framework/library (React, Angular, etc.) plus HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Exposure to at least one back-end language: Java, Python, Node.js, C#, etc.
• Basic SQL and core database concepts.
• Strong written and spoken English (French is a bonus).
• Sharp problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Clear communication and teamwork abilities.
• A proactive, self-driven learning mindset.
• Ability to work independently when you need to — and contribute strongly when you’re part of a team.

4. SAP is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Full Stack Software Development Intern to join our dynamice ngineering SAP IBP team in Montreal, Quebec. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects, gain hands-on experience across the entire software development lifecycle, and learn from experienced professionals in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
5. SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) solutions are market leaders and are used by more than 2,500 customers worldwide. We aim to innovate the SCM product portfolio through an Integrated Business Planning cloud product that integrates with our established ERP business suite S/4HANA.
6. SAP Integrated Business Planning (SAP IBP) is a cloud solution that enables companies to react quickly to customer demands and helps them handle changes and shortages in the supply chain by generating a short to mid-term supply plan based on prioritized and categorized demand, such as orders and forecasts. To learn more about IBP, watch this video. The development of SAP IBP is fueled by various customer engagements and the collaboration between several teams in different locations.

SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role. The targeted range for this position is 18.00 - 36.00 CAD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidates will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Due to the nature of the role, which involves global interactions with SAP entities, as well as with employees and stakeholders in Canada, functional proficiency in English is required for positions based in the Quebec.
